At Breath of Hope Foundation, we are dedicated to advancing our mission with integrity, environmental responsibility, and social accountability at our core. Our work is guided by a strong commitment to responsible, transparent, and sustainable practices as we strive to expand access to life-saving medical oxygen for children in need.
We are committed to operating in full compliance with applicable national regulations and recognized international standards for health, safety, and ethical practice. Our goal is to deliver compassionate, life-saving support while promoting a healthier, safer, and more equitable future for the children and communities we serve. Environmental
Oxygen is our product and clean air is our context. We work to keep our environmental footprint as small as the lives we protect are significant, from how equipment is powered to how it is retired.
Favor on-site oxygen generation and energy-efficient concentrators over long-distance cylinder transport wherever a facility's power supply allows.
Service and maintain equipment for its full safe lifecycle, repairing rather than replacing wherever possible.
Handle, store, and retire oxygen cylinders and medical gas equipment under strict safety and environmental procedure.
Minimize project waste, from packaging to retired parts, and dispose of materials responsibly.
Source locally wherever quality allows, shortening supply chains and supporting regional business.
Governance
Trust is earned through structure. We operate with clear accountability, transparent handling of funds, and compliance at every level, so every cedi given can be traced to a breath delivered.
Operate in full compliance with applicable national regulations and recognized international standards for health, safety, and ethical practice.
Deliver installations to ISO and European / U.S. Pharmacopoeia quality standards through our parent company, Rikair.
Verify and log every donation, and map funds clearly to the projects they support.
Keep donor and supporter data private. We never sell or share it.
Keep the foundation's charitable mission independent from commercial activity, with Rikair providing technical oversight.
Maintain open channels for questions, concerns, and reports, including a dedicated ESG contact.

Social
Our mission is social by definition: equitable access to a life-saving medicine for children whose families cannot afford it. Every project, training, and partnership exists to close that gap.
Provide free, safe medical oxygen to underprivileged children regardless of ability to pay.
Prioritize disadvantaged and rural facilities where the oxygen gap is widest.
Train hospital staff on oxygen safety and cylinder handling so the benefit outlasts every installation.
Raise community and donor awareness of medical oxygen as an essential medicine.
Obtain guardian consent and protect dignity and privacy in every image and story we publish.
Engage volunteers and partners fairly, with clear roles and safeguarding for children.
